“The act of affixing a (litho) printed top sheet to a
secondary substrate; typically a corrugated grade material, forming
a single (laminated) hybrid sheet”.
We can litho-laminate
a wide range substrates including many corrugated fluted grades; B,
C, E and microflute, single-face, double-face and twin-wall flutes
as well as solid boards and speciality materials.
Supplementing
this process is a full range of ‘die-cutting’, ‘creasing’, gluing
and hand finishing services designed to naturally complement the
specifications of the large format presses.
simple technicalities…
The key to success with all large format litho-lamination
projects is simple; you’ll need an in-depth knowledge and
understanding of all the processes involved and an ability to
communicate this and any potential idiosyncrasies fully from design
concept onwards, you’ll need to make informed substrate selections
and have a skilled appreciation of the stability and attributes of
the laminated hybrid material and its ultimate suitability for
purpose… well, maybe not that simple then!
